Explore and discover every corner of this vast 3D world.

Kube is made up of billions of small kubes that you can pick up and place as you wish. Build tunnels, bridges, castles or use your imagination and create an entirely new and unique structure.

1. Controls

There are 2 ways to move in Kube:

Keyboard Only

• Arrow keys or Numpad to move around.
• Spacebar to Jump.

Keyboard and Mouse

• Hold down left mouse button and move the mouse to look around.
• + With the mouse button pressed, and the up or down arrows to advance / retreat. The left and right arrow keys to move laterally , and the mouse to turn.

Advanced Controls

There are also some additional keys which are explained below :

• Ctrl = Jump. Recommended when using the keyboard and the mouse at the same time.
• Esc = Cancels kube selection (main mode).
• Hold Down Shift = Stops you from falling.
• U = Cancels last kube picked up/put down (Not possible after moving zones).
• P = Enables "private mode" whilst taking photos (Can only be used with the Kubix 3000).

2. Zones

Kube is divided into Zones, each sized 32x32. You can pick up and put down kubes in public zones or empty zones , but you cannot modify a zone controlled by another player unless they have given you access.

If your zone is empty you can rent it out to other players in exchange for Muxxu Tokens . You must travel to your zone in order to rent it out to other players.

Players can choose to give other players access to their zones. This enables players to share zones and build structures together.

3. Dolmens

Travel the world in search of Black Kubes. Use them to create Megakubes (3x3x3=27) which will automatically transform into Portals.

Click on the Portals to map out the surrounding area. little by little this will enable you to complete your Map .

You can also find and use Portals built by other players, as once they have been built they are indestructible

4. Game Objectives

• Construction: Build houses, castles, towers, labyrinths, etc... Don't be shy! Show off your creations in the Forum so other players can visit them. You can also immortalise your creations by taking photos using a camera from the Shop.
• Collection: Although there are billions of different kubes, only a few are very rare. Travel the world and exchange kubes with other players to complete your collection. Certain kube combinations create new kubes!
• Exploration: Travel to every corner of Kube! Collect Black Kubes and create Portals to complete your Map, and one day you might become a Cartographer!

About

Kube runs in Flash, and doesn't use your computer's 3D graphics card, therefore it is somewhat limited in comparison to other similar 3D games.

Kube was created in 2009, at a time when Minecraft was a simple 3D editor with no game rules. Kube offers a unique, enduring universe for all its players, and a balance between exploration and construction. We hope you have as much fun playing Kube as we had creating it.
